PRAISE GOD! GoodSearch is Here!

Tuesday, July 6th, 2010

What if IMPACT International earned a donation every time you searched the Internet? Or how about if a percentage of every purchase you made on-line went to support IMPACT International? Well, now it can!

GoodSearch.com is a new Yahoo-powered search engine that donates half its advertising revenue, about a penny per search, to the charities its users designate. Just go to the home page and type in IMPACT International(St Louis Park MN) in the Who Are You Searching For? slot, or you can go directly to http://www.goodsearch.com/?charityid=919985, and then use it just as you would any search engine, get quality search results from Yahoo, and watch the donations add up!

GoodShop.com is a new on-line shopping mall, created by GoodSearch.com, which donates up to 30 percent of each purchase to IMPACT International! Hundreds of great stores including Amazon, Target, Gap, Best Buy, eBay, Macy’s and Barnes & Noble have teamed up with GoodShop and every time you place an order, you’ll be supporting IMPACT International. You can go directly to mall by typing in http://www.goodshop.com/?charityid=919985

However, if you do not want to put up with the hassle of typing in http://www.goodsearch.com/?charityid=919985,
or http://www.goodshop.com/?charityid=919985 every single time you can download the GoodSearch – IMPACT International toolbar. Then IMPACT International will earn money every time you shop and search on-line -– even if you forget to go to GoodShop or GoodSearch first!
You can add the IMPACT International toolbar by going to http://www.goodsearch.com/toolbar/impact-international.

Complete details are available on the GoodSearch website.

Finally, even though IMPACT International has joined GoodSearch.com for fundraising purposes, IMPACT International does not support or endorse any of the policies or practices of any of the companies associated with GoodSearch.com.

ministry update

Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,

Here are some Praise Reports:
PRAISE GOD we were privileged to host students from New Live Academy last Friday. While it was overcast the clouds had a hole in the middle that looked like an eye and some of the students commented that it did not move the entire time we were there: It was as if God Himself was watching. I think God opened up the cloud not only to watch but to show all of heaven what happens when HIS children truly worship HIM.

PRAISE GOD one Friday night as the Bethany students began to sing about the Return of Christ the atmosphere was so charged by the Holy Spirit that some of the people, including some Muslims, began asking questions and wanting to know more about it.

PRAISE GOD we had another fabulous Friday evening with Brooklyn Park Lutheran. Some of the volunteers were amazed at how vividly they could Jesus on people’s faces.

PRAISE GOD that we have found favor with Hope For The City and will not have to pay the entire $1,500 membership fee.

PRAISE GOD the HOMERS FOR THE HOMELESS Twins game was well attended and even though they ended up losing a good time was had by all.

PRAISE GOD the Hot Dogs For The Homeless at Knollwood Cub Foods went well also. Once again big thank you to everyone who came out to support Hot Dogs For The Homeless and a very special thank you to everyone who volunteered: we could not have done it without you.

Romans 4:17 says to call those things which be not as though they were so I will continue to Praise God for our new Resource Center (formally known as the Billy Graham Word Wide Pictures building).

I want to continually Praise God that He has counted us worthy to be ambassadors of Light in this dark world working out His vision here on the Earth.

ABOVE ALL, I JUST WANT TO PRAISE GOD BECAUSE HE IS WORTHY OF ALL OUR PRAISE!

Here are some prayer requests:
Pray for the continued healing of Scott’s hip especially as we resume trips to with Hope For The City.

Pray a special blessing on all those who came out to volunteer and/or support Hot Dogs For The Homeless and the HOMERS FOR THE HOMELESS Twins game.

Continue to pray for funding and strategies for fundraising opportunities such as last months Hot Dogs For The Homeless and the HOMERS FOR THE HOMELESS Twins game, or the Second Annual IMPACT International Marathon (Walk-a-thon) For The Homeless coming up in October. Pray that those people who God has appointed to help us would answer the call. (If know of any others that you think would help fund IMPACT International, You can call Scott Henstein at
(612) 812 – 5860 Or e-mail him at scotthenstein@IMPACTInt.org.)

While we were recognized as a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization by the State of Minnesota we still have not gotten out final letter of recognition from the Federal Government. Pray that God would find and overcome whatever is hindering us from getting that letter.

Let us also continue to pray for our leaders, Scott and the other board members: that they would continue to seek God’s wisdom and direction on how to best walk out the plan HE has shown (and will continue to show us) for this ministry.
